Taking my mind off of things...
It's very important for me to keep my mind and hands busy so I don't worry about my life with diabetes so much. One of my favorite things to do is to knit on a circle knitting loom.
I make hats that I usually give as gifts. It makes me feel good and most importantly, it keeps me from snacking in the evenings. I tend to get bored and reach for foods that aren't kind to my blood sugar. Having this knitting loom hobby helps me to avoid that.
It makes me feel normal when I'm knitting on the loom. I forget about anything else that might be botthering me.
This evening I finished a hat that I will give as a gift. I thought I would share it with you.
