It's time for another doctor's appointment...

This time it is the endocrinologist.

I'm not nearly as nervous about this one as I was with seeing the family doctor.  I guess I see this appointment as a safety net.  It's the comfort of a second opinion and the faith I have in her.   She impressed me with her knowledge and care from the first time I met her.

For this appointment I'm making it sort of a ladies day.  I'm going to go spend the night before at my parents' home.  Mom will go with me and we'll do some shopping after my appointment.  My endocrinologist is in a nearby city about an hour away.  It's well worth the drive.

My family doctor seems to think that I'm right on track.  We'll see what the endocrinologist says.  The only thing I worry about is my weight.  It's creeped back up a bit.  I have already started walking again and am doing a bit of belly dancing.  So we'll see if I can whittle away at it some more.
