I was craving a really good burger for supper tonight. Unfortunately, I gave in to fast food. Then I thought, "Why not find a low carb substitute?" I did and I would like to share this low carb burger diabetic recipe with you.

I've been using a Red Exerciser and I would like to share my review of it with you.
The first time I became aware of the Red Exerciser was while flipping channels late at night and landing on an infomercial for it. I was very intrigued by it because I liked that it didn't take up a lot of space and it was a seated form of exercise.

Monday was my followup visit with my doctor regarding my a1c level. I was nervous. I always get that way and I don't really know why. It's going to be what it is and I can't change it. Deep down I look at my a1c level as an honesty meter. I certainly can't fool myself or anyone else. I am "caught". My a1c level is a reality check and shows how hard I have trying...or not.

I went to my doctor for my regular checkup this week. We were discussing carbs and which ones were good vs bad. My doctor said that good old fashioned ham and bean soup is one of the best meals a diabetic person can have.
Apparently, the nutritional value of the beans far outweighs their carb content. I made some for lunch today.
