Even if I can’t be
proud of my diabetic a1c, I can be proud of my cholesterol numbers. My doctor has me on a statin drug as a
preventative and it is working wonderfully.

My diabetic a1c was
a whopping 7.5 this past quarter. That’s
up from 6.2. I’m not proud of it. It’s left
me discouraged and wondering if I’m human or just plain lazy. In all honesty, I’m probably a little bit of
both.
