Have you heard this? On June 25, Kellogg issued a voluntary recall of select packages of Kellogg’s® Corn Pops®, Honey Smacks®, Froot Loops® and Apple Jacks® cereals.
We diabetics shouldn't be eating these sugary cereals, but someone in your family might be so I thought I would post the recall information here.
It comes directly from this Kellogs link. http://consumeralert.kelloggs.com/consumeralert.aspx?id=3870
What products are included in the recall? What code dates I should look for?
-
We are recalling the following cereal products due to an off-taste and smell coming from the package liner.
Only products with the letters "KN" following the Better If Used Before Date are included in the recall.
Only packages in the white, paper-backed foil liner are affected by the off-taste and smell. Click here to see pictures of these materials.

Again, only products with the letters "KN" following the Better If Used Before Date are included in the recall. - What should I do if I have product that is affected by this recall?
- Were the recalled products distributed nationwide? Where were these packages sold?
- Are the products involved in the recall safe for consumption?
- Why are these products being recalled?
-
My product is included in the recall but it doesn't smell or taste unusual. We have eaten some of the product already, is that okay?
