Recently I went to the doctor to see if I've been a good diabetic. I
have improved a bit, which is good, but I'm not at fantastic just yet.
All of my blood work was good except for one interesting thing.

I am the type of person that likes to find root causes. I have the attitude that if you chop off the head of the snake, you've ended your problem with the snake. Diabetes is the same for me. I really would like to discover the root cause. Treating symptoms feels like I'm on a never ending merry-go-round that not so merry.
Do you think that obesity is the root cause? Hmm. I don't really buy that. There are lots of thin Type 2 diabetics. I think it is a contributing factor but perhaps not the root cause.
Here I would like to share with you an article that talks about how inflammation may be a part of the root of cause of diabetes. I hope you'll read it and then share it with your doctor. I know that is what I'm going to do.
