Heart and Stroke Foundation has funded a research study that has identified that
plant sterols and moderate exercise combined are shown to improve blood cholesterol
levels for those at risk for coronary heart disease. This could be good news for diabetics.

My family doctor told me yesterday that some of my wacky blood sugar readings have been caused by my body coming out of a honeymoon phase some new diabetics experience.

Tomorrow, Monday, is my follow up appointment with my
family doctor. The anxiety has quieted a bit. I've sort of resigned
myself to the fact that it is too late to worry about it now. Life has
to be lived. My numbers will go up and down.

I've made my second round of follow up appointments
since being diagnosed with diabetes with my family doctor and the
endocrinologist. Both of them are this month. I find myself filled
with dread and anxiety.
