If you read my blog very often, you know of my dislike of prescription medication.  As a result, I'm always looking for alternatives ... that are safe.  I've been using therapeutic grade essential oils for over 10 years.   Recently, I have discovered that Coriander Essential Oil can help to balance blood sugar.

I'm Always Worrying About My Toes

A toe amputation changes your perspective as a diabetic.  I worry about every little nick and scrape I get these days.  Recently I dropped something on my remaining big toe and I'm getting the subsequent purple toenail.

When it first started changing color, I had a day or two of panic.  There was pain and a little redness.  I couldn't exactly remember when or what I did to my toe. 

A Flea Market Today Will Make My Exercise Fun...

Today I'm going to a big flea market.  It's a perfect fall day.  I will have fun and slip in my exercise without it being a chore.  That's just the way I like it.  I will be worn out at the end of the day, but my tired body will be healthier for it.

Cypress Essential Oil is one of the oils I turn to keep my diabetic feet healthy.  It is well know for helping circulation.  I have always loved the healing properties essential oils have.  After I lost my toe, it became part of a core group of essential oils that I mixed with Vitamin E cream to aid my healing.
