cereals.

If you are like me, heat and humidity can affect your blood
sugar. I find the higher the humidity,
the more sluggish I feel. My blood sugar
goes up no matter what I eat. Am I just
a delicate flower? No, there is a reason
why we diabetics don’t feel well more so than others in high heat and humidity.

Recently I went to the doctor to see if I've been a good diabetic. I
have improved a bit, which is good, but I'm not at fantastic just yet.
All of my blood work was good except for one interesting thing.
I
have diminished thyroid function.

Today I am eating a little crow about Simvastatin, the
generic of Zocor prescribed by physicians for lowering cholesterol. I had panicked a few weeks ago when I heard
a doctor on the radio and read a study that said it would cause or worsen
diabetes.
My doctor straightened me out today.
